ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (SOLUTION SELLER)

Full time – Hybrid in the Netherlands

INTRO

As our Account Director (Solution Seller) you;

  • will identify, pursue and develop business relationships at C Level, either within new brands that have not yet worked with Mood, or within Mood’s existing customer base in order to maximise opportunities for profitable sales growth – expected target levels circa €500k – €1m per annum.
  • be fluent in the language of Customer Experience as it relates to physical retail & hospitality spaces – specifically in how brands can create a more impactful customer experience in their stores through the use of audio and visual solutions/technologies in order to more deeply engage with consumers.
  • maintain a good understanding/interest on the latest trends affecting consumer behaviour as it relates to retailing and to help brands visualise and therefore invest in Mood’s solutions in order to achieve their business goals and brand aspirations.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To achieve sales targets at agreed gross profit through identifying new revenue opportunities, and/or developing strategic growth plans for specific clients and consistently converting interest into sales.
  • To take a strategic creative storytelling/consultative selling approach for client presentations and solution development
  • To develop effective, high-level customer relationships that demonstrate understanding of the customer’s business, their needs and aspirations and, through expert product knowledge, understanding of Mood Media’s solutions and capabilities, to propose solutions for optimal customer satisfaction
  • To work with Mood’s Solution Designers and Creative Directors in the creation of Audio and Visual solutions in line with the customer’s vision and business needs
  • To provide accurate forecasting information when required, input and involvement with sales team

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Ability to interact confidently & persuasively at all levels 
  • Effective presentation & negotiation skills – particularly in multi-stakeholder/complex sales environments.
  • Consistent record of target overachievement and expected target levels
  • Results orientated to achieve aggressive sales targets
  • 3 years experience in Sales and Account Management
  • Native Dutch speaking and fluent English

Desirable

  • Experience of conceptual selling in a retail environment
  • Established client and contact network at C-Level within target verticals
